Part 2: Set up an empowered home work environment.

There is one important word to keep in mind as you continue to work from home: Ownership.

Some things are going to remain the same. You are still you—and the work isn’t going anywhere. When you work from home, everything else is different. You are surrounded by family members. Your office is now located somewhere in your house. The schedule, the time frames, the expectations are all subject to adjustment in this unique opportunity.

If you are struggling with the adjustment at times, know that you are not alone. Even those who dreamt and planned to work from home will face moments of difficulty during the transition. The important thing to remember is you are empowered to create a system that works for you. Your job is not just to get the work done but also set your work-from-home environment up for your success. And that is up to you.

In this session, I offer you six suggestions to set up your home environment just the way you like it, and hopefully reduce the stress you experience in this moment.
